With the approval of Measure J & K in 1998, the SECURITY & DRAINAGE charges on your CSD bill are now Taxes. Consequently, the amount a property owner pays for these charges may be deductible. If you itemize your deductions on IRS Form 1040, Schedule A, you may deduct the aggregate sum paid for the SECURITY & DRAINAGE Taxes during 2016.
