Levee Certification
The Michigan Bar and Airport levee systems (Levee ID Nos. 8068 and 8069) meet the minimum certification criteria outlined in 44 CFR 65.10. Therefore, FEMA plans to fully accredit this levee system on the new Digital Flood insurance Rate map (FIRM) as providing protection from the 1 percent (1%) annual chance (base) flood.
