Let me clarify the post from yesterday, concerning Direct Levies. We can place delinquent utility bills on the Sacramento County tax rolls for collection. WE ARE NOT putting levies on your homes. We are only adding those properties who are delinquent on their utility bills. Currently there are 10 properties that are delinquent. We must hold a public hearing to allow those property owners time to contact us and work on ways to get the bills paid.

 

The Board of Directors will hold a Special Board meeting on Tuesday, July 14th. This meeting encompass the items that would be discussed at the Regular Meeting on July 15th. We will begin a Closed Session at 8:35 a.m., when the Board will conduct interviews for General Manager Candidates. Open Session will begin at 5:00 p.m., and the public is welcome to join.

Additionally, the Board will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, July 21, at 8:00 a.m., to hold a Public Hearing for the purpose of placing direct levies on the FY 26-27 annual secured tax roll.
