METRO FIRE CERTIFICATION -- RECEIVE FREE TRAINING IN DISASTER PREPAREDNESS AND RESPONSE!

The Metro Fire Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness and response. Participants must live or work in the Sac Metro Fire service area. The CERT Basic Class is a FREE and 24 hours in total, broken up over four days.  The course will train participants in basic disaster skills such as: preparedness; fire safety; light search and rescue; and disaster medical operations.

The class is taught over two weeks.

Thursday, March 12, 2020 - 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (4 hours)

Saturday, March 14, 2020 - 8:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m. (8 hours)

Thursday, March 19, 2020 – 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (4 hours)

Saturday, March 21, 2020 –8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  (8 hours)
