TYPE OF WORK: Emergency Water Leak Repair

The Rancho Murieta Community Services District (District) will be replacing a cluster of leaking valves in this area and has to shut off the water supply to Lindero Drive to do so. Due to the complexity of this work it is unknown how long to outage will be. Staff will be working as diligently as possibly to shorten the outage duration which is scheduled between 8am-4pm. After the water repair is made, staff will return the water supply and flush out any air through area fire hydrants. If you experience air in your water lines, run your irrigation system and/or cold water taps to flush out any air. Work is anticipated to be complete by 4:00 p.m.; however, unknown circumstances may extend this out. Trench plates and barricades will cover this work until paving may be completed.

Traffic controls will be in place to allow staff to complete the necessary work for this repair. There will be construction equipment, as well as heavy equipment working in the area. Please avoid the area and work site for your safety while work is in progress and DO NOT drive through work site.
