METRO FIRE CERTIFICATION

The Metro Fire Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) program educates volunteers about disaster preparedness and response. Participants must live or work in the Sac Metro Fire service area. The CERT Basic Class is a FREE 24 hour course that trains participants in basic disaster skills such as: preparedness; fire safety; light search and rescue; and disaster medical operations.

Metro Fire offers the course twice yearly: late fall and late winter. The class is taught over two weeks.

Thursday, March 7, 2019 - 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (4 hours)

Saturday, March 9, 2019 - 9:00 a.m. to 5:00p.m. (8 hours)

Thursday, March 14, 2019 – 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (4 hours)

Saturday March 16, 2019 –9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  (8 hours)
