Treating Chesbro Reservoir for Algae control - Friday Sept. 18, 2020
A contractor for the Rancho Murieta Community Services District (District) will be treating the reservoir to help control algae in the areas shown on the map below. The product being used is SeClear, an NSF approved product for algae control in potable water reservoirs. The product will be applied at low rates and is being used to control algae in this area, not eliminate it, and will not harm any fish present. Please avoid this area while work is in progress to allow contracted staff to complete this work.
