With the approval of Measure J and K in 1998, the SECURITY and DRAINAGE charges on your CSD bill are now Taxes. Consequently, the amount a property owner pays for these charges may be deductible. If you itemize your deductions on IRS Form 1040, Schedule A, you may deduct the aggregate sum paid for the SECURITY and DRAINAGE Taxes during 2020.
